The FVAWL is holding a low-cost vaccination clinic to the public. No appointment necessary. All vaccines are $15. For low-income families (state aide, disability, social security or unemployment) they're just $10.

CATS AND DOGS

Services for cats and dogs include both surgical, spay/neuters and wellness care.

SURGICAL

Limited Dental services are also provided. General dental cleaning starts at $60. Our veterinarian will quote other routine dental procedures at the time of exam. Your animal must be spayed or neutered or spayed/neutered at the time of the dental.

Pricing for our procedures are covered within three individual categories: animal welfare organizations, low-income families and the general public.

ANIMAL WELFARE ORGANIZATIONS

Your organization must be licensed in the state of Illinois. Any organization located out of state must have a 501(c)3 status.

LOW INCOME FAMILIES

Illinois residents that receive Public Assistance, State Aide, Link Card, Disability, Social Security or Unemployment can qualify for our program. DuPage County residents with a Link Card will qualify for a free spay/neuter voucher provided by DuPage County Animal Control.

GENERAL PUBLIC

The general public is encouraged to use this affordable wellness care for their companion pet(s).

WELLNESS CARE

Services include healthcare check, vaccines, blood test and microchipping. These services are provided on a regular basis each month. Check the Calendar for dates and times. No appointment is necessary.

Vaccines are $10 for licensed Illinois rescue organizations and low income families. Illinois residents that receive Public Assistance, State Aide, Link Card, Disability, Social Security or Unemployment can qualify for our program. Vaccines for the general public are $15.

Blood tests include Heartworm Test at $10 and Feline Combo Test at $20.

Microchips - Tell your cat or dog that you love them by insuring their safe return. By placing a microchip in your companion pet, animal control, animal shelters, clinics and rescues have access to identify your lost pet. For a $20 fee you pet will be chipped and registered directly to you, the pet owner. (No hidden fees). See the AVID brochure.

EXOTIC PET CARE

Susan Brown, DVM, nationally recognized exotic animal veterinarian will be providing spay/neuter services twice a month. Pricing for a rabbit spay will be $80 and for a neuter, $50. Dr Brown will also be holding a wellness clinic monthly starting in April for exotic pets including rabbits, ferrets, other small mammals, birds and reptiles. Dr Brown will be providing a health care check as well as being available to answer questions on exotic pet husbandry, behavior and training. Prices to be determined.

Dr Brown is an excellent resource on the proper care of exotic companion pets. We encourage the caregiver to accompany the pets. Children are welcomed. Check the Calendar for dates and times. No appointment necessary.
