Foster Care Program

The purpose of the FVAWL Foster Care program is to help animals that have a good chance of survival and are considered adoptable, but who are either too young, are sick or injured, or are under-socialized and would have difficulty being placed directly into a typical adoptive home.

Puppy Love Volunteers

Our Pupppy Love Program which takes pets to local nursing homes is over 20 years old. Over the years, many hours have been spent by our volunteers and "pups" bringing smiles to senior residents. We are so very grateful to those who participate.

Volunteers are assigned to a particular day and location.

Do you want to be involved with a program that gives you that "warm and fuzzy" feeling? If so, please give some consideration to helping the League with this very caring and worthwhile program. Many of the residents don't have regular visitors and very much look forward to our "puppy" visits.

Sponsor-A-Space

(THIS PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY BEING DEVELOPED)

You Can Provide Food, Care and Comfort Today by Sponsoring A Space.

What is a Space? It's a Cat Cage or a Dog Kennel.

Help us give pets a second chance at finding their way home. Your generous contribution will support our life-saving programs and will help keep our dogs and cats warm and fed. You can show your support for these animals through our "Sponsor-A-Space" Program.

Through your sponsorship, you will be helping us provide quality nutrition, medical attention, and continual care for the space (cage/kennel) that you have sponsored.

Sponsorship can be rewarding for school classrooms, retirement home residents, and others who can't adopt a pet of their own but want to be a part of helping homeless animals. You can also sponsor a space in memory of a loved one.

In exchange for your tax exempt donation, you will receive the satisfaction of knowing you are directly helping the homeless animals in our care. In addition, your name or organization's name will be displayed on the space you have sponsored, on our website, as well as in our newsletter.

If you would like to sponsor one or more of our pet spaces, we will have a link to PayPal for online donations, and a form that you can print and mail in with your donation via US Mail.
